Mango Season

It's mango season. Late May is a time when Caymanians debate the virtues of different varietals. I have one of all the main kinds...about 5...bought for 10 bucks CI...about 12 US.

Sweet, messy and good. Caymanians like to eat them in salt water on the weekends because it makes the mess go away easily and the salt makes the sugars even sweeter.

Similar to apples in the fall in the Shenandoah Valley. Shenandoah...still my favorite word in the English language.
