Human dignity sits at the forefront of current CI constitutional discussions.
Being nice takes one much further here than anywhere I have ever been. God help the surly Brit or American who "demands" service from a Caymanian. Not only will you be rejected, you will be punished. I've seen it several times. Treat people as if they "serve" in a servile sense, and you are screwed. Treat them as if they are servant leaders, and you'll enjoy a warmth matched in few places.
Regrettably the implicit racism of "service" is all too evident in the CI. Good for the people who reject it and punish those who try to "demand" service.
