British Overseas Territory

It is important when considering the Cayman Islands to think of a place that is currently a British Overseas Territory, but that is likely to achieve one notch greater in autonomy over the next few years.

This is constitutional law in the making and quite interesting...rather like the formation of new continents in geology but at a bit faster pace.

Bermuda is in some ways a model for the next level of autonomy for the Caymans.
