Here's the January 21, 2008 opening of the Cayman Brac campus of the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) and the Civil Service College, partners in this and other ventures. This island is about 10 miles long and has a population of 1,500. This is the first tertiary education in its history--which reaches back to Christopher Columbus's 4th journey in 1503.
The World War I and II monument to the island's dead, just across the street, shares names with many I met on the island....a beautiful, tranquil gem.
