Eli and I found a mango at the Kroger today...all the way from Peru. E was so excited and lobbied for a coconut as well but we'll test drive the mango tomorrow morning at breakfast. Maybe we'll get the coconut and the boys can take it out and smash it on the sidewalk. It'll make them feel that much closer to dad... But does it qualify for fruit of the week since it's really a nut?

Fruit of the Week

Eli,a natural border crosser, realizes I think quite correctly that tropical fruit and nut of the week is a natural and helpful progression...not a diversion and certainly not hegemonic in any food aggressive way. I for one admire his open mind.
