Skiing at Moonlight Basin

We had 14 inches of new snow last night and they expect about the same tonight. Locals say it's the best ski conditions of the season...it's a wonderland of snow. Eli had a ski lesson yesterday and today, and this morning we took the chair lift up with Fisher and enjoyed some beginner slopes together. Eli grabs onto my poles and does "pizza slice" and "french fry" all the way down. He's doing really well. Fisher, Alexandra and I tackled some intermediate slopes while Eli was in ski school. The fresh powder was wonderful but also challenging. Ben, Charlie and David hit some black diamond runs and wore themselves out. I'll take photos tomorrow morning of the views and trees which are covered just like in "The Grinch." In the meantime, here is Eli all geared up and ready for a day of skiing.
