Cooked my first dinner on the island. There is a small fish market near Hammerhead's bar in Town. I bought two red snapper fillets cut from the fish in front of me. A huge grouper sat nearby.
Two 1 lbs fillets cost $10 KYD. That's $12.50 US.
I then dropped the fish at home on my way to the Cost-U-Less, a new warehouse store like a Sam's Club. There I bought garlic, butter and some grilling herbs. I cooked the fish in butter and garlic and seasoned it with grilling herbs. Then I stir fried broccoli and cauliflower with butter and some of the left-over juices from the fish. Very good!
