Low visibility

The sun came out briefly this morning while we were on the slopes to show the top of Lone Mountain and also the craggy Spanish Peaks behind Big Sky ski resort. Otherwise, it's been snowing continually since we got here on Thursday and we've yet to see the truly spectacular views. That's the trade-off for near perfect ski conditions. The snow is light and fluffy rather than the heavy wet snows we find out east. Eli took the Derringer lift with his ski school this morning and mastered the slopes on his own, without hanging onto anyone. Way to go, E! Tonight we go on a sleigh ride up to a cabin on Lone Mountain for dinner.
