Spicy food in hot places.

It takes about 3 weeks. You sweat and sweat. Then it stops. No matter how hot, you have to do something to break a sweat. In short, you get used to it. Sun and heat are less likely to induce pouring sweat.

So people eat spicy food...it somehow breaks that barrier to the cooling effect. The Caribbean is nearly always breezy so people carry umbrellas on sunny days and eat spicy food.

It works.
